For many years, I have tried to steer away from doctors and modern medicine because of the outright laziness and tunnel vision of GP's today. Doctors usually have only one answer and that is to treat the problem with drugs. They don't seem to interested in finding the underlying cause and providing effective measures to counter them. Most doctors I have encountered sneer at the possibility of alternative medicine.
Is it because there is no pay out or incentives like the ones offered by pharmaceutical companies?
I think pharmaceutical companies influence our medical profession so much, that doctors have forgotten where all their medical advances originated form. Where do they originate from? It was humble herbalists, who for many centuries mastered the art of concocting herbs into various forms of medicines.
It is very refreshing to see programs on television such as" is modern medicine killing us". If only all doctors could be as open minded as Dr Frances Pitsilis.
